At LogHeal we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains the terms under which you may request a refund for subscription payments made through our payment processor, Paddle.
1. Free Plan
LogHeal offers a generous Free plan that does not require a credit card or payment of any kind. Since no payment is collected, no refund applies.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you upgrade to the Pro plan and are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment.
As an EU consumer, you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive) from the date of purchase. By actively using the Service after purchase — such as logging in and accessing Pro features — you expressly request immediate commencement of the Service and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal applies only to any unused portion of your subscription. Our contractual 14-day money-back guarantee above provides equivalent or greater protection and applies regardless of Service usage.
- The 14-day window starts on the date the first payment is processed
- To request a refund, email us at support@logheal.pt with your account email and the reason for your request
- Refunds are initiated within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Final timing depends on Paddle's processing schedule and your bank or card issuer — in some cases refunds may take up to 15 business days to appear on your statement.
3. After the 14-Day Period
After the 14-day money-back window has elapsed:
- No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a monthly or yearly billing period
- When you cancel, your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period
- After the billing period ends, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan — you do not lose your data
4. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription inside the LogHeal app. No phone call or further steps are needed.
Alternatively, you can email support@logheal.pt and we will process the cancellation for you.
5. Limited Exceptions
Outside the 14-day guarantee, refunds are only considered in these limited cases:
- Accidental duplicate payments
- Billing errors caused by our systems or our payment processor
- Cases where a refund is required by applicable law

6. Payment Processor
All payments and refunds are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our Merchant of Record. This means your payment contract is with Paddle, not directly with LogHeal. Paddle handles billing, VAT and tax compliance, currency conversion, and refund disbursement on our behalf. In some cases, refund requests may be handled directly by Paddle. You can also contact Paddle directly for billing or payment queries at paddle.com/legal/contact. Paddle's own privacy policy and terms apply to payment processing.
7. Data After Cancellation
After cancellation, your account downgrades to the Free plan at the end of the current billing period. Your existing data (patients, clinics, appointments) remains available under Free plan limits and is not automatically deleted solely because you cancelled your paid subscription.
